To start off,
I'm eleanor or ellie if you prefer. And I've created this forum as a sister forum to the Unofficial Gary Numan and MCR forum so please join and post on both. this ones purely an extra place to admire Gerard. The other forum is the main place for MCR chat. So this forum is just for chat about Gerard not the whole band.
I want this Forum to be as friendly and as informal as possible but I would still like to lay down a few ground rules.
Please treat other forum members with respect even if you do not agree with their opinions. Bullying will not be tolerated.
Bear in mind that the Forum can, potentially, be viewed by anyone in the world with an internet connection and therefore you should never post personal information such as phone numbers, full names etc.
Please do not use text talk as it is difficult for many people (including me!) to understand!
Please do not illegally share files, post links to enable illegal file sharing, or post links to unauthorised streamed videos or songs. After all, we don't want to get sued!! Also, the forum will be suspended or shut down if any illegal file sharing or streaming goes on.
Please do not offer to send anyone illegal files, links etc. Please do not ask anyone to send you illegal files, links etc.
Please do not post porn or links to porn sites.
Please do not post information about the personal life of Gerard. Please don't post information or pictures about his family/girlfriends etc. unless its something Gerards put in the public domain himself. He deserve a bit of privacy.
Off-topicness is fine (and even a good thing!), as long as it doesn't annoy the person who started the thread too much.
EDIT: One for the newbies! This is a very active forum. So if anybody wants to read or "lurk" then feel free. However, to keep things tidy, this does mean that if anybody joins up and NEVER posts (eg a zero in the post count), they'll be deleted after a month. You don't need to join up to look around
Most of all - have fun! That's what it's all about (or is that the hokey-cokey?).
